Amongst everything else that has been hit by this truly made year, the Royal British Legion’s poppy selling is going to be severely restricted due to the covid-19 pandemic. We would like to donate £5 from every Family Portrait booking, made between now and 11 November 2020, to the Royal British Legion.

For those who don’t know Kirsty’s side of the family very well, Kirsty’s Grandad joined the RAF straight from school and spent time in India, Malta, Egypt, America and Canada to name a few. She has the (really bad) joke that she has a “real Egyptian mummy” due to her mum being born at a British army base on the outskirts of Cairo and her mum has memories of times playing on the Cliffs in Malta whilst growing up. Kirsty still has her Grandad’s camera and it takes pride of place, next to our family photos, drawings and trinkets on the shelves in our living room.

If this year has taught us anything it’s to hold our family just that little bit closer and if we can help fill the void, a little bit, for the British Legion, then we would love to gift you a Family Portrait Experience and donate £5 to this well deserved charity.
